During his time with the CIA in the midst of the Cold War, Yetsan scoffed at the idea of a polymer pistol, believing them incapable of competing with the tried-and-true full-steel weapons he wielded so well. A decade of humility and maturity later, he adopted the Gen3 Glock 17 as the standard sidearm of the IDA, having recognized it for the technical miracle that it was. His choice has since been throughly vindicated, with the handgun seeing his agents safely through countless operations the world over.
It would not be until 2014 that a new challenger sought to usurp the Glock's dominance in the form of the SIG Sauer P320, matching the legendary reliability of the 17 with the addition of an insane level of modularity, being able to swap calibers and configuration virtually on the fly. It has become a sign of the new generation of IDA recruits, unseasoned but full of promise.
Both handguns are issued with a pair of raised suppressor sights, a custom-smithed trigger group (especially important in the case of the less-than-stellar P320 trigger), and an IDA Half-Can, an advanced next-gen suppressor that packs the noise-reduction of a full-sized silencer into half the length.

DUDE. Sig P320 is my dream pistol. It's like Sig looked at Glock and said, "up yours, Austrians; we can build it better." and then they did. P320 with an Inforce APL flashlight will be my forever pistol.
